Biography

Krishna Rani Kalari is a Lead Computational Biologist in the Center for Individualized Medicine and Pharmacogenomics Research programs at the Mayo Clinic. She is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics, with an appointment in the Department of Health Sciences Research, holding a diploma in computer science, B.S. degree in electronics and communications engineering, and a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. Kalari’s research focuses on cancer genomics, pharmacogenomics, and pharmacokinetics, with an emphasis on drug resistance and individualized treatment. Her studies have resulted in development of novel methods for big-data analytics and genomic medicine.
