Fall 2021 – CCBGM Biannual Meeting
AI & Healthcare – Taking Research to Translation
The Biannual Meeting will be held on the University of Illinois campus, Thursday and Friday, November 11-12, 2021. Due to COVID, this will be a hybrid meeting with options for in-person or virtual participation (note this may change due to CDC recommendations.) Attendance is limited to members of the Industry Advisory Board (and representatives from member companies), center faculty, students, staff, and invited guests. The Center for Computational Biotechnology and Genomic Medicine (CCBGM) brings together the engineering and genomic biology strengths of the University of Illinois with the world-class expertise in individualized medicine and clinical research and practice of the Mayo Clinic to work on computationally challenging projects that use artificial intelligence, machine learning and system innovation to address “real-life” problems of interest to both industry and academia. CCBGM is funded by the NSF as an Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) which encourages pre-competitive fundamental research in science, engineering, and technology by developing partnerships between industry, academia, and government.

Parking at the CSL building is not provided for meeting attendees but metered spots are available near-by.

This meeting is intended for CCBGM member companies (and their staff) and Mayo/UIUC faculty, clinicians, students and staff and invited guests.
