Jean-Pierre Kocher is Chair of the Division of Biomedical Statistics and Informatics and Director of the Bioinformatics Program at the Mayo Clinic. He is also the Vice Chair of the Department of Health Sciences Research at Mayo Clinic in Arizona (MCA) and is the Associate Chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Arizona State University (ASU). His scientific background is in bioinformatics, chemoinformatics, and computational biology. Dr. Kocher’s current scientific focus is on the analysis of genomics data to advance the understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying clinical disorders.
