Tandy Warnow is the Founder Professor of Engineering, and holds appointments in Bioengineering, Computer Science, and the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. Her research focuses on algorithm design for large-scale statistical inference problems in phylogenetics, multiple sequence alignment, metagenomics, and historical linguistics.
