Steven S. Lumetta is Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science (CS). He was part of the team that brought the Blue Waters supercomputer to UIUC and is PI for the CompGen Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Center. Recent projects include coherence models and mechanisms for the Rigel 1000-core accelerator and software tools for improving automatic feedback on programming assignments.
