Andrew A. Chien is William Eckhardt Professor in CS, Director of the CERES Center for Unstoppable Computing, Senior Fellow at the Computation Institute, and Senior Computer Scientist at Argonne National Lab. He has interests in systems spanning applications, system software, networking, and architecture. Current interests include programming and computer architecture for exascale computers, data-intensive computing tools that are easy to use, and programming models and tools for post-Moore’s Law computing substrates.
